Idyllically located on the banks of the canal basin, just off Coach Street- you can follow the signs for canal boat trips. Canalside is a beautifully converted nineteenth century bobbin warehouse and is a tasty new place to enjoy superb food at anytime of the day, whatever your time scale. The head chef has created a mouth watering menu that is changed regularly so that seasonal, locally sauced produce can be utilised in creating culinary masterpieces. As an alternative, their hearty carvery or sandwich menu is a very satisfying choice for lunch.
